PSU Advice? Running short on power

Hi,

I recently upgraded my graphics card to an HIS 7950 IceQ Boost Clock. Since then my PSU has been struggling a little, it works and doesn't crash at full load but now beats the GPU and CPU as the main heat creator in my system, and (according to GPU-Z, I know software doesn't always read it right but here goes) the 12 volt rail reads 12 volts at idle but drops to 11.41 volts when loaded, which is only just in spec. My PSU is a cheap thing, £30 for 550 watts, and considering I'll be wanting to overclock the GPU in the future (this version is voltage unlocked) and add more RAM, I'm trying to find a good PSU for a good price. I've heard seasonic are great but they're pricey, so I was hoping for a rebranded one that was cheaper.

System is AMD Phenom quad core 9950 Black edition,

4GB DDR 2 RAM,

4 SATA HDDS (2 desktop 2 laptop)

Radeon HD 7950

+2 PCI cards

I know its an ancient system with a beefy GPU but I can't afford to be upgrading right now.

Thanks in advance for any help, hopefully I haven't made the post too long!

Edit: am hoping to try to stretch to a 700 watt supply, but if this is way over the top for this system let me know

If you're referring to the price difference between the CX750 and the TX750V2, the TX750V2 is guaranteed to deliver 750W of power at a temperature of up to 50 degrees celcius...the CX750 will actually deliver less power as it's temperature increases...it will probably start delivering less power at 30 degrees celcius and above.

Just taken apart my desktop (had a stuck exhaust fan) and have found 2 things. 1. this thing is a 650 watt. 2. it has 2 rails each rated at 18 amps, meaning my entire output is only 432 watts on the 12 volt rail. im guessing this means i could get away with a much leaner power supply and still have plenty of power to spare?

What do you mean it delivers 931.2 watts before it shuts down and temp is over 50°C http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/XFX-PRO-750-W-Power-Supply-Review/1182/8
It is rated at 50°C just like the TX Corsair and comes with 5 year warranty just like the TX Corsair.
