Hello everyone
I have never built a gaming pc but want to try to build a computer for $830 or less. My goal is to be able to play Battlefield 4 on at least high with between 50-60 fps and later be able to add another graphics card to be able to play on ultra with 60 or more fps . The build needs to include everything a pc needs to function including windows 8 but not including a keyboard, mouse, monitor etc.
I have created a pc build here http://pcpartpicker.com/user/bdm665/saved/2vBx but i am not sure if these components will work well or if there are slightly cheaper components that could be used which wont sacrifice the quality so much or at all. I have also heard that BF4 will be more suited for AMD graphics cards and CPU , is this something to worry about with the GTX 760s? I also plan on playing games such as mine-craft, unreal tournament 2,and black light retribution.

Good Luck with the build. The 7950 and the i5 3570 work great together to actually give you an all out Ultra Settings(Hopefully) gameplay. No need to worry about the Coolers yet, the case comes with 5 Fans so it will keep everything relatively cool. Later on, though, you might want to get a CPU Water Cooler because:
a) They look beast mode in the computer
b) They contribute to a overall quieter game time since the CPU is cooler.

This would be the system without the cpu cooler including windows 8.

The buid for $843 sounds the most interest considering the price point although it is slightly higher. Is this $843 build a considerable amount better than the first pc build i originally listed, im just wondering since it uses intel and a 7950.Or will they perform about the same?

I have also created another build here http://pcpartpicker.com/user/bdm665/saved/2vHY for a even reduced price. Are there issues i should be worried about with the two cheaper builds i created? Also im guessing 750w is not needed to run 2 gtx 760s or 2 hd 7950s?

Thanks to both of you guys for such a quick response, from looking through many threads it seems as though there is a generally helpful crowd here.

Your last build is good and yes i5 would be the better processor for gaming since it does not have to drag around 2-4 extra cores then needed. Hope this helps at least a little bit, please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns. Also please remember to select your solution after you have your question answered, so that others may learn from your thread. Thank you for your time and questions. Have a good day.

Physically putting together the parts of the computer seems easy but the only thing im not to sure of is what i do in the bios. From the tutorials ive watched including the newegg tutorial you have in you "how to build" link it seems as though if you are not overclocking, all you need to do in the bios to get your computer running is choosing where you want your windows to boot from before you insert your windows cd ?
