I was previously using ati 5850 hd and decided to change to Gtx 760.
After installing gtx 760 on the motherboard, i proceeded to uninstall the ati drivers via control panel.

Thereafter i installed the Nvida drivers and after i reboot i notice after about 2 mins the window borders keep blinking and the loading cursor beside the mouse arrow seems to be loading forever.
Whenever i enter a program, it will exit immediately as though i had pressed the windows key. No problems in win 7 safemode.

Could it be hardware fault or driver related complications?

Solution
Remove drivers BEFORE removing card.

1. Reinstall old 5850 and boot
2. Uninstall drivers
3. Use Ccleaner to remove all things AMD / ATI related to GFX
4. Remove 5850 and boot to on board GFX if ya can to make sure everything clean ...check for driver folders and registry entries.
5. Install new nVidia card
6. Install new latest drivers.
