The e-tailer I use is offering these cards at >5$ difference in price. Which one should I buy if I have an Intel Pentium G2020?

Solution
The best graphics card out of the two by a little bit is the GTX650. It consumes a little more power, but if you have a decent enough power supply there shouldn't be any problems. For an easy to read, basic idea of the differences, take a look at the findings here:

If you already own that PSU, then it will be fine, but if you are looking into buying the PSU then you might want to go for a little more. But yes, 400W will be absolutely fine.

Actually, the GTX 650 is the better card because of Nvidia's better drivers and Cuda cores. However, I would choose the HD 7750 because it runs faster on League of legends and DotA 2 which I play. Also, hoping that the HD 7750 will be able to utilize Mantle nicely. Then, it would beat the GTX 650 by far, unless Nvidia also has something up its sleeve.

P.S. A 400W PSU is enough for either cards.

However, the OP did not specify which games he prefers to play, so you cannot recommend a graphics card based purely on what you play. The 7750 is good, but on the whole there's no doubting that the 650 is of better design and power.

That's the point. OP did not specify the games he play that's why I mentioned DotA 2 and League of Legends so that if ever he plays those, he will make the right choice. But I totally agree that overall, the GTX 650 is the better card. I mentioned that in my original post by the way.

bouh of them has very similar performance, in my opinion I prefer AMD , I think is a matter of liking, however if PSU is generic you can damage the GPU an all your components, so is not only Wats, its cuality to.

you can not take an idea only on theorical numbers, you most test on real world and see how many frames per second they achieve

I.e. Gaming benchmarks, which is what we base our recommendations on.

With regards to my gaming choice, I play nothing gory or violent (Prince of Persia is my limit). I am into racers though, and puzzlers like Portal 2. Mostly, however, its for 3d modelling.
