Hey guys
So I built a new pc yesterday, everything's working well except whenever I put my pc to sleep the power cuts off and when I shut down my computer it wont start until I cut the power supply for a few seconds and reconnect it. I cant seem to troubleshoot the problem.

My PC config is
i5 4570
Gigabyte B85M-D3H mobo
Corsair CX600
Corsair vengeance 2x4GB memory
stock coolers

Cheers

Is your PSU "haswell" ready version?
Anyway. disable all power saving options from motherboard and it works just fine. Do not put it "sleep" just shut it down.

There is known issue with motherboards and psus with hasswell power saving systems. This can cause usb ports not working after sleep.

What do you mean? I've tried tweaking every possible power related settings in the BIOS setup, it still stays the same.

Normally my usbs are powered even if I dont turn on the pc but once i shut it down normally it even cuts the power to the usbs and the power button on the chassis doesn't seem to turn the pc back on until I cut the main power for a few seconds.

According to corsair it may support haswell, they're still evaluating it's compatibility. How are haswell compatibility psus differnet from non compatible?
Cheers
