There are many different reasons for a blue screen, so I am glad to hear that you were able to resolve the issue. The key to knowing what to do in each scenario is to get those stop codes and do a google search. They should give you a general idea of what is going on.

0x0001e
and 0x01 < with the you know 9/10 zeroes.....
were some of the other stop codes. but the ^ main one im referencing didn't display one that I could find.
although I think I got it fixed..... the power supply I was using was underrated and I installed the intended one in it which is much more powerful and it hasn't crashed again since. but if there are other causes for those ^ then please any thoughts o_O

yeah the bsod messages were very limited and quite useless.... I have a new one which was a 0x0109
http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18482850
which according to this information it is a ram issue.... planning to visit the friend whose computer this is in reference to, to give it a shot.
