Pc won't boot with new motherboard

I have a brand new Biostar A55ML2 motherboard, I have everything plugged in and can load bios fine but if I try and boot the windows 8 logo appears for 2 seconds then the screen shuts off but all fans and leds are still running

Do the following:
1. Check that your CPU fits into the fm2 slot perfectly (it would be good to tell me what your cpu is btw).
2. Check to see if your ram is compatible.
3. Reset the bios by pulling out the CMOS batter on your motherboard.
4. Remove the ram and put it back into the motherboard.

You need to give us more detail about your computer.

I have done everything you said here and still getting the same problems

N470gtx twin frozr II
Amd a6 5400k black edition
Kingston 2gb ddr3 1600mhz
Enermax galaxy 750w
Windows 8

Because it's a new motherboard, you will probably need to re-install Windows 8.

Yes, given the change of motherboards, it's likely you will need to re-install Windows.

You can try setting SATA to IDE in BIOS (if AHCI) and starting in Safe mode. See if booting.

Tried to re install windows from a flash drive but still having the same problem, the windows 8 logo appears for around 5 seconds then the screen turns off
