A Gaming Laptop <$1000 and a college Laptop Around $700

Hi,
1-I want to buy a Decent gaming laptop [below $1000](for myself)------> i prefer 15.6"
2-a college laptop which can handle hours of web browsing and FIFA 14 :) [around $700](for a friend)

*these are the brands that i want to buy : Asus , Lenovo , Dell , MSI , Acer
***for the gaming laptop i found Lenovo Y580 rly good but The FHD(1920*1080) version is not available in my country --- is HD(1366*768) rly version as bad as some people say?

Aside from the display,it's a decent notebook
As for the other one,Lenovo G580 is a good choice and should handle Fifa 14 fine because it's not a demanding game

1. What is your budget? below $1000 - around $700

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?15.6"-15.6"

3. What screen resolution do you want? Doesnt Matter that much :D

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop? Dportable but below 3kg is ok, i think (for both)

5. How much battery life do you need? Doesnt matter that much - 3hr at least

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games.
Yes, i want a gaming laptop - the other one only FIFA 14 :D
Normal quality would B ok

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)
Game mostly - Web browsing & FIFA 14
8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need? +500GB (1 TB would B Fine)

Bkz these are the only brands available in my country
+apple & fujitsu & hp

and i simply believe the brand i mentioned are btter

You mentioned the Lenovo y580, but why not go with the 510p (Newest version of the laptop with Intel Haswell CPUs) instead?

You can get a Lenovo Ideapad y510p with a 1080p display and gt 750m graphics card for around $970.

In my opinion, its a great deal

2. i checked nearly all of our online stores , Y500&Y580&Y510p laptops are 1366*768(i think they all have planned to import every last garbage from lenovo stuck here :/)
