Hi all, just a quick question. Will Battlefield 4 run decently on my GTX 480? Medium to high settings? Additionally, my CPU is a Phenom 2 x4 945; will this be a big bottleneck for Battlefield 4? Thanks.

I have 8 gigs DDR 3.

Okay so from what i can see online your processor is about the same a a first generation i7. So it's still pretty dang fast. You'll be fine!

I wouldn't think you'll get any bottlenecks, but bf4 is in beta and i have a 3rd gen ivy and cpu is wacky and all over the place at like 40% avg.. So when the game is fully released you'll be fine. GPU will be fine as well. I got a 460 and get 60fps everything on medium bar a few like texture on high etc. 40 avg on high (ON BF3 mind you) So i'm guessing you'll be able to get like 40 average everything on ultra?

Wont be good now though because i get 30 fps on ultra, 30fps on high, 30fps on medium and you guessed it 30-20 fps on low... Games a bit buggy for me at the moment. Good luck!!

Hi there,
your Phenom 2 x4 945 will not be able to handle BF4 man. I tried the beta with my Phenom 2 x4 965 oc to 3800. first with a AMD 6950, it was a disaster best fps was 30 maybe and game would freeze every few sec. not playable at all.
then I changed the 6950 to a 7950. then it was a little better but still not playable, cpu would be at 100% all the time and the 7950 would show about 30%-50% usage.
I played a a couple of hours and came to the conclusion that I have to make a new pc!!!

Dont worry dude, Your cpu is fine,I got the same one, Its a bad bug that Dice has yet to fix in win7. I installed free preview win8.1 on a sperarate partition and it runs wayyy better with my GTX 570, it was unplayable in win7
