I am using lenovo laptop, it is amd a8 5550m. When i check the cpu temp by core temp software or cpuid hwmonitor software. It is always showing above 80 degree hot.

How will the laptop become 80 degree hot at the starting itself. When i switch on the laptop and check the temp it is high. how? the laptop is cool outside, but howcome it is hot inside?

Your best bet is to turn your laptop off overnight and check the temps again after it has been off for a while. You can also check the BIOS and see what the temps are there. Basically the CPU in a laptop is cooled by heat pipes which take the heat from the CPU and distribute it over a larger area so it may feel cooler since the heat is being distributed to safer parts of your laptop. Do you notice your fan running a high speeds? Do you have a buildup of dust in the vents? These can also lead to hot running computers.

I Think CPUID HWmonitor gives wrong readings. I also have a lenovo laptop powered by AMD A8 5550M, and use open hardware monitor alongside CPUID's, and they give different readings. CPUID's showed 108 degree C one, which is beyond the maximum operating temp. of the processor. If it really was that high, it would've shut down by itself, which didn't happen. And it wasn't that hot at all(I wasn't doing any power-heavy stuff).
