The rig could be good for your needs, but you will need change the GPU since that model is mid end and for that software you need something with more power.

Thanks for your reply Saint19

I was also thinking this, do you think this system will do the job better?

The only compromise with this version is the motherboard though. But id rather have a better graphics card at the end of the day i guess

Thanks

That's a much better GPU but I would suggest go with something that have GTX 770 or above.

You need to check with your applications vendors for their recommendations. If your system doesn't meet their specs they will always use that as a reason why it isn't performing as you think it should. Ask me how I know.

Thanks for the advice. I'm finding it hard to find a GTX 770 machine in my budget. I might order this one and maybe upgrade the GPU later on.

Usually, game boards are a poor choice for 3D graphical work. I suggest a Quadro.

Check the price of a decent Quadro GPU and you will see that doesn't fir in this budget rig.

It doesn't matter what it costs if it doesn't work. The last Quadro board I bought cost under $200 and I use it every day. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

I don't think you understand. The drivers for game boards and pro boards are diametrically opposed to each other. It has little to do with how powerful they are.
