Hey all!

Just another one trying to choose a new GPU because my Palit GTX 650 has crapped out :( I just want the best match for my CPU: i5 3570k. I was looking at the GTX 770. Anyone got any suggestions? I really want one that won't be slowed down by my cpu or my cpu slow it down. Probably impossible to eliminate the bottlenecking everywhere but if anyone has any ideas...please reply! :)

There is no issues with running a 7970, that is what I use with the same CPU and everything works great. You can't beat the price to performance right now with the 7970, I know a lot of people are hesitant about moving away from nvidia if thats all they have ever known but it's mainly because of a bad rap from the past. AMD graphics cards are just as capable as nvidia, don't fear the change.

Hey! Thanks for the response! Hmm okey thanks something to think about. I really don't know too much about overclocking. And mainly stuck to the GTX series ones. But i'm open to suggestions of new ones too.

Also is there any problems that could arise using the 7970? seeing as it's Radeon? I've never not used Nvidia before so I'm jsut unsure with the compatibility. This is my first PC that I've built myself.

Specs:
CPU: Intel i5 3570K
PSU: Aerocool 700W
RAM: Corsair DDR3 2 x 4GB (8GB)
Mobo: Fatality Z77 Performance series 1
