I´d go for an 3TB Western Digital Black.
Pretty fast and 5 years warranty.

I recently bought it,but that was faulty. I returned that and get refund. now I have to order again. I don't want to buy faulty piece again. however, this model is my first choice. but what about reliability....

That was pure bad luck. I am using Seagate Drives for 15 years and never got a faulty HDD out of the box. So its reliable enough, atleast for me. Now its upto you which one to rely upon.

Well, judging by the amount of complaints on other hardware related forums, Seagate seem to have an real problem with ther quality lately.
I know I am biased and that there are probably similar complaints about every manufacturer. But still, personally, I won´t be touching Seagate again in the near future.

thanks guys, I'm again going with seagate, because every brand's every model is same in reliability according to many-many reviews I see. so,I gave seagate 1 more chance, cause online seller is giving 1 month replacement/refund guaranty.

thnx to all. I received seagate hdd 2 days ago, working fine till now. I bought it for price:quantity ratio and also I find it equal to most of models of other brand as wd black etc in reliability and also in overall performance, cause no model is perfect - it's only ur N ur hdd's luck - spl. ur luck. I tested it with hdtune pro and seatool - it's good. can't say about future. let's see .....
