Hai Everyone.
I'm new to this forum and I am upgrading my computer. My current system is Intel Pentium Dual Core 2.5GHz with 1 GB ram.

Is it possible to add 6GB of RAM..??
Help me finding the best available GFX card also.
Thanks in advance.

erm, you may end up with a bottleneck, But, what are you planning to do with it? there are cards from the $40 range to $1,000 Range, Usually over $100 are the gaming cards.

as melderv said, you could get a HD 7750, but, it all depends what your doing...

It's possible to add 2GB DDR3 x 3 to make it 6GB DDR3 RAM. However, you'll be hard-pressed to find any 1GB RAM to make it so you'll only have to add 5GB more. For some gaming, 4GB DDR3 is enough.

Having said that, a quick HD 7750 would fit any GPU upgrade budget since you haven't provided one.

Err, if your wanting to upgrade, I do not think 170$ is gonna cut it... unless your getting parts off of ebay....

(Unless its not for gaming, Then, You might be able to fix a replacement board, but, CPU's are usually $200+

The HD 7770 would be the one of the best cards in the middle of your budget range. You could also spend some cash to upgrade your RAM but unfortunately all you can support is DDR2.

I like this site too, Which is why i help, if your gaming, Go ahead with the 7750, if your just needing an upgrade beacuse your GFX crashed, Just get a Gt 630, about, $80

But, you are gonna need a Ram upgrade
