Hello, I have an issue with my Optical drive. It appears when windows starts, but soon enough it dissapears. I checked the event viewer, and I found these:

"The device, \Device\CdRom0, is not ready for access yet."
"The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Ide\IdePort1."

I have tried several solutions such as regedit modification (filters),
also I tried this: bcdedit -set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS, on Command line
I tried FixIt, but nothing seems to work. Bios detects the drive just fine.
I thought it might be hardware issue, but I barely used it. Maybe I used it 2 or 3 times.. I think I have it for like 2 years... Maximum 3 years.
Any ideas what this problem might be?

Pull out the SATA and power cable, then re-attach firmly or use another SATA port. See how it goes. Or, replace the SATA cable.
