Hi,

Sorry for opening a new thread, but I don't understanding very well the operations of this forum, (french forums are (for me) easier), and also for the any spelling mistakes.

I have a problem, in my desktop I have a SSD(128 GB) and a HDD(2TB), I have installed Windows 7 SP1 on the SSD and moved the Users folder and ProgramData folder using this method : http://www.crazyws.fr/tutos/deplacer-le-repertoire-util...
If I'm splitting the HDD, and installing Windows 8 on the new partition, I'm afraid of wrecking this fragile moving of folders. I already made a dual boot on my laptop, and Windows 8 was working fine, but Windows 7 didn't boot anymore ! I had to repair the system files with the installation DVD.
Can somebody help me about doing this operation without having a bad surprise ?

Thanks in advance,

Teltboy

having just the SSD hooked up install Win 7. disconnect the SSD and with just the HDD install Win 8. reconnect the SSD and set your BIOS to boot off of your most used OS drive. when you want the other OS enter your BIOS to select it.
