Hi there,

This will be my first attempt to build a PC. I will buy components from Amazon EU (DE, ES) because it is very expensive in my country and they do dispatch to my country. Tell me what do you think and give some advice on motherboard please. Although I have read and watched many videos, I still have no idea which one is the right choice for me.

Approximate Purchase Date: Will order next week
Budget Range: No more than 800 €
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming to Web Browsing
Parts Not Required: Monitor, DVD Writer, HDD (Already have one)
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Only Amazon EU
Country: Cyprus
Overclocking: Maybe
SLI or Crossfire: No
Monitor Resolution: 1920 x 1080
Additional Comments:

1. I mostly play FPS (especially Battlefield series) and Strategy games.
2. Average heat in summer in Cyprus is above 30(c), so I need a good CPU cooling. I do not prefer liquid c. because I have seen many people having problem with them.

Build (I will put Amazon UK links for the components however the price in paranthesis are taken from Amazon DE - ES)

CPU: Intel i3 Gen i5-3570 K (195 €)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo (28 €)
Motherboard: ?
Memory: Corsair Vengeance RAM DDR3 (PC1600, 2x4 GB, CL9) (75 €)
Storage: Kingston Technology SSDNow V300 60GB (60 GB, Serial ATA III, 63.5 mm (2.5 "), 450 MB/s, 450 MB/s) (€50)
Video Card: Asus AMD Radeon HD 7850 DirectCU II Graphics Card (2GB GDDR5, PCI Express 3.0) (180 €)
Power Supply: Corsair Builder Series CXM 500W Modular 80 PLUS Bronze (52 €)
Case: Sharkoon T9 Value Red Midi Tower ATX (58 €)

Total: 640 without Motherboard

Thanks!

the all in one liquid kits these days are much better than they were 3/4 years ago.

I have installed the cooler master 120xl in a few cases, it's a great bang for your buck solution in general.

for BF4, you're going to want a 7950 3gb, which have plummeted to only $200 in US, not sure what the cost is for 7950 vs 7850 for you, but it's most like worth it

I might consider buying liquid cooling if it is the only choice I have. If the conventional ones are good enough to keep PC running normal when playing games, I prefer them because it is three times more pricey.

On GPU, unfortunately the EU does not have competitive prices like in the US, so 7950 3GB is not an option in my case. Also I probably will use this PC max 3 years. It's an important point as well.

The Pro 3 is a good board.

The 212 evo is very good and will do just fine cooling under normal use (high ambient combined with overclocking may want one of the water coolers mentioned earlier, but for the price it might be worth starting with the 212 and changing later anyways)

And the 7850 is a solid mid range card, it will do the job (barely), though you will probably have to compromise some graphics settings for better framerates.
