My PC Turns off every 1 min and when i start it, it says "Floppy disk fail (40)".
i have read a solution about this problem:

But i cant find the solution in BIOS.

  1. i don't know what BIOS you have but.................. on the page where the date is............. there should be a couple of things you can disable........................ but more importantly.................. under boot order ( search for it in your bios )................. hard drive should be first/dvd-rom second/disable 3rd ( that would be the floppy )
  2. you cant get into bios, or you cant disable the floppy disk check while in there?

if your PC is not home built, you might not have bios access to make changes.

For example, this is a 7 year old gateway we're talking about... you probably cannot change anything in bios without a password that you probably dont have.
  3. Thank you for trying help me.

The BIOS not protected by password, i can change everything i want,

legacy diskette............... disable................ then I guess in advanced you will see something inre to boot order............. do what I said above................... when done hit the F10 button and then the ENTER button. machine should reboot on it's own saving the changes.
