I flashed my Aspire X1700 with another MoBo's compatible BIOS ROM in order to unlock some customization features that were not available on the original. It worked fine, in fact I am writing this question on the very same PC. However, during post I get an error which does not halt boot.

"PCI IRQ table error 00:0F:00"

Tried clearing the CMOS but no go, still same error. Everything seems to be working fine so I don't know if this needs to be fixed or not. Can anyone help me with this?

The reason why I did it is because I am getting a Intel Duo E8600 3.3 GHz and I want to overclock that baby do 4GHz.

Is it possible I can add more than the 4GB of RAM the stock E2220 was able to handle? How much more on this board?

Yeah thats probably due to a mismatched BIOS rom. I don't think its anything to worry about (could be wrong).

Its just either looking for a PCI and didn't find it, or has found one which it didn't know about, at that location.

Either way windows takes care of IRQ assignments/conflicts.
