I'll try and keep it short as this seems to be un-salvageable but who knows.
My 1TB Caviar blue started to act up lately so i ran HD tune and got transfer speeds between 2 and 9 MB/sec. It is completely defraged. I'm moments away from having WD replace it, just wanted to know if anyone knows what the problem could be.
Could it be the Mobo?
I am using the same SATA 6Gb cable as my WD Black which is fine.
Any help or even just confirmation that this thing is shot would be much appreciated.
