Hi all!
Trying to get a at work at home customer service job (It's legit.lol). The place I am applying wants me to have at least a Pentium P4 or higher. I have a AMD ATHLON 2 X4 645 PROCESSOR. How close are the two? If I do need to get one what would you suggest. I am on a very limited budget and my computer tech only builds AMD systems. HELP Please! Thank you

Your Athlon II is way, way faster than a Pentium 4, so you have nothing to worry about in that regard, it has 4 cores vs. the Pentium 4's one core, and it is a good deal faster per core than the Pentium 4 is.

Your x4 should be around twice as fast so no worry there performance-wise. The P4 was Intel's worst architecture ever.

I personally used to own a P4 and then I upgrated to the Athlon II x4 just like yours and the Athlon is easily more than twice as fast as the P4, you cant even compare
