I'm upgrading from another AMD card. I don't have the CD that came with this card, so I'm using the latest AMD driver I could find: http://www2.ati.com/drivers/beta/amd_catalyst_13.10_bet...

The issue is that when I'm playing a game or even watching a movie, anywhere from ten minutes to two hours in I'll start seeing the display messing up, shortly followed by either a driver recovery (less often) or a total crash (more often) with a VIDEO_SCHEDULER_INTERNAL_ERROR.

I've run WhoCrashed which points to:
atikmdag.sys (ATI Radeon Kernel Mode Driver, Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.)

I've also run a memtest and chkdsk just to rule those out entirely, and they both came up fine.

What can I do?

I should add that I'm running Windows 8 64-bit

I'd uninstall that driver and download the most recent stable driver (13.9) from amd.com

I did this last night and today I am still seeing the crash. Is there anything else I can try?
