Hello,

I finished my build, and everything seems to be working properly. I'm really concerned though, as every time I start the computer up, it kicks everything on for about a half-second, then will power right back off for 3-5 seconds, then kicks back on for good...

Any idea what's going on here?

These are the components:
Obsidian 650D Case
Hydro H110 CPU Cooler
Ripjaws Z 2 x 8GB 1866
Cooler Master V1000
Seagate 2TB HDD
Samsung 840 Pro SSD
ASUS Xonar DSX Sound Card
Intel i7-4930K
ASUS X-79 DELUXE Motherboard
EVGA NVIDIA GTX 780 GPU
EVGA NVIDIA GTX 780 GPU
Lite On Blu-Ray 12X
ASUS 24X DVD Burner

I also plan to have 4-8 USB units connected at any given time.

Solution
jimmy the issue is the mb cant set the ram speed up right at post and has to reboot to set the ram speed. use the usb flashback port or download the newest bios and use the bios renamer tool to rename the bios then update it from inside the bios under advance mode tab. when it done updating go into the ai tab under dram speed turn on xmp profile.

before a set bios the mb used a .rom then there a .rom to .cap converter bios if your bios file is too low. if it not and at a .cap bios then all you do is rename the bios file per the link and use the usb updater or update it through the bios.

look like th4e newest bios for the newest mb is 0403 look inside your bios on the main screen to se if your mb has the newest bios if it does turn on xmp profile.

I really appreciate your help, I have 0401 so I need to upgrade. Will check back if I need further assistance, or to close the thread! Thanks again!

On this guide: http://event.asus.com/2012/mb/usb_bios_flashback_guide/

It doesn't have my motherboard listed to rename it. I assume it x79d.cap but I'm not sure... Any ideas?
