I recently purchased a graphics card (sapphire radon 7870), and I plugged in the 6-pin power cable to what I thought was one of the 4-pin plugs plugged into the PSU. It was actually plugged into the hard drive, and when I tried to boot up, I got stuck on the bios screen. Every subsequent boot, it still gets stuck. However, there was no burning smell, or any physical indication that anything had happened. The computer seems to behave normally on startup, as the hard drive light is still on, etc. I suspect that for some reason, the computer cannot access the hard drive, for some reason.
