You can easily search 7790 and 3240 for the wattage. Look at the ad at new egg should give wattage. Here is a tool to get a lot of info..
http://www.extreme.outervision.com/

up to 150W Power Consumption on the ASUS 7790, 55W on the 3240.

The 7790 is an 85w IIRC so two would be 170w.

Yes, the reference 7790 1GB is indeed 85w as you say, I also looked up the ASUS DC2OC (1GB and 2GB) because that is the card I thought he was asking about and ASUS says both cards are up to 150 w.

That has to be a typo, how the heck can a card which has a tiny OC suddenly consume nearly twice as much power? Unless they are really inefficient of course?

Your guess is as good as mine, the OC on the ASUS is not that much 1000 vs 1075 on the core and 1500 vs 1600 on the memory? I just reported it as I read it.... :)

I get that mate so no worries. That site is still wrong though because my 7790 is clocked at the same speeds and yet is still rated at 85w!

The card I have suffers random flickers across the top of the screen which lessens if the Vram is downclocked to 1500mhz and GSOD's, BSOD's and the monitor switching off all at random so I can't really give you a performance evaluation because I don't think it's very good TBH.
