no. if it comes to pc you will need a minimum of a core 2 quad or phenom x4 and a hd 7770 with 4-8 gigs of ram.
your way under on both cpu and gfx.
thats not to say it wont run but it will be a slide show even at minimum settings... (assuming it comes to pc)

agreed on the quad its a requirement
i remember my old Q6600 rig, there was a huge difference in performance between stock 2.4ghz and 3.5ghz overclocked speeds - GTAIV is CPU hungry

Cpu will get you by, a quad would be recommended but the first piece of hardware to let you down pretty hard playing is your graphics card.
Nothing less then a 7770 or GTX 460 to enjoy the game.

lol damn my dyslexia. thanx boju, i completely missed the i in the IV, but hey the advice is the same. you need a quad and a decent gfx card. as well as a fast HDD as the game has some serious texture pop issues even after patching...

The cpu is fast enough. I played gta4 with a AMD x2 2ghz cpu with a 5830 video card = over 30fps on very high settings. But your video card is far too slow for it. At your lower resolution, something like a 5770/7660/7770 or better would allow it to be playable on your system.

Hmm, that is a nice GPU and can handle the game very well, but your processor might bottleneck it. I would suggest the 6770 instead.
my guess is you so used to poor fps that you didnt notice the slow down or your monitor has a very slow response time which would help in some cases to smooth out frame pacing.
sorry to call you out on this but i see it to often on here... 2.0 ghz is below minimum spec for the game by some way so that and my own experiance tell me your exaggerating... but feel free to prove me wrong by linking me to a 30 second fraps of you playing...

AGAIN, i played gta 4 including dlcs with MODS at 1680 by 1080 at HIGH settings with OLD AMD X2 2GHZ cpu (4000+) And a 5830 video card = OVER 30 fps...SURPRISE!!!! Just go away, you have ZERO clue what you are talking about.
If you bother looking at the toms video cards for 'best buys", the 6770 and 7770 are fairly close to my 5830. And running it at 1024 by 768 is NOT going to be more demanding than 1680 x 1080.
