I have in mind that the ram should be the same type, is this the same type in that sense? Or could this in some way interfere and decrease performance or not perform as it could if it was the same type?

Not a good idea to mix DRAM sets, even of the same exact model, can be problematic, even more so with different brands, different freqs, different CAS.. Best to buy a single set of what you want, that way they are tested to work together, XMP (which is programmed by the set, for the number of sticks) will work, i.e. with two sticks the advanced timings will differ from a 4 stick set, i.e. tRFC for 2 sticks may be 208 and with 4 it may be 314)....also with different freqs in particular it will prob take additional DRAM voltage and MC (memory controller voltage)
