Will Kaspersky AV slow down my PC if it's a high end one? I've heard that this anti virus can be kind of heavy on PC performance or internet performance.

I would dare to recommend to go straight to Avast and ignore Kaspersky. I have experience from both. Avast is very easy to use trustworthy and
discreet. Kaspersky always pop up for something and a bit complicated compared to Avast. You can try both and choose what you feel is better for you. Your rig is more than good to have lag or any similar issues due to antivirus.

The only reason I'm considering Kaspersky is because the motherboard driver disc that came with my ASUS Maximus VI Hero MoBo, has a bunch of programs on it that I can install that it recommends, such as ROG-CPU-Z and AI Suite III and Kaspersky Antivirus.

I'll probably end up going with Avast though in-case the kaspersky comes with bloatware shit or slows my internet speed. Thats the main thing I heard about Kaserpsky, is that it slows web browsing something fierce from all the website monitoring and blocks and what not
