I've bought a motherboard which is compatible with the Intel i7 3770K CPU and I am planning to buy another cpu in order to have in use the asus mixumus vi extreme motherboard.
It says that it is compatible with 4th generation intel cores but it has 1150 socket while most gen 4 cores have 2011 socket and only a few have 1150.
Will a 2011 socket cpu be compatible with this motherboard or will i have to buy a 1150 one?
