How to wire this network

I am moving to a new house and would like to set up a new home network.
I have a Synology 5 bay NAS, a Asus Ac1750 router, a 16 port switch( gotten from a friend).

I want to have a LAN port in each of my 4 bedrooms and living room. Wifi for my whole house and connect the NAS to my home network. As I am new to this and only know how to do simple set-ups. How would recommend me to wire up the network?

I can buy new parts, but not too expensive, so u may recommend me additional parts.

The above is the basic concept, but how are you looking to do this?
Wall jacks in each room for the LAN ports? Or just cable along the walls?

Also, in the living room, you will need more than one port. A 5 or 8 port switch, connected to the single wall jack would work.

Also, if you're going in-wall...it is just as easy to string two wires to each room as it is to string one.

I'm in the process of doing this exact thing. 2 ports in each room, multiple ports in the entertainment area.
