Hi everyone!
So I'm planning on gettin a new rig sometime soon, all the parts are determined. I want to use a H220 from swiftech because I may expand later. I'll be using an i7-4770K, most likely overclocked. I've seen on the web a lot of people setup their radiator fans in different positions. For dual radiators on a cpu loop, I've seen some put 4 fans, two on each side, one side is pull and the other push. My question is which way should i setup my fans on my radiator? Should i be making them as an outtake or an intake? Please keep in mind that the 240mm radiator will be installed on the top of the Switch 810 case, its position varrying upon which 2 of the 3 slots its placed in.

Questions
- Should I be using the fans on my radiator for intake or outtake?
- If intake, how should the rest of my fans be setup. Because the usual setup is front and bottom are intake, top and back are outtake. But if I make the radiator fans, which are on the top, intake, then how should the rest of my fans be setup?

-Thanks![strike][/strike]

Solution
It might a bit but the only other way you can really do it while keeping dust out of the fans is this:

------------
######
XXXXXXXX

- = Top of case
X = Fans (Blowing out of the case, Intake)
# = Radiator

The only problem with doing that is you will only have the back fan as an exhaust unless you put side panel fans in as exhaust.

The best way I think you can mount the H220 is to have a set-up like this:

------------
XXXXXXXX
######

- = Top of case
X = Fans (Blowing out of the case, exhaust)
# = Radiator

I set it up like this so that since your fans are pulling air through the radiator all the dust will get stuck on the side of the radiator that is facing into the case, therefore making it easy to clean. Also as for the rest of your fans I suggest having all the fans around the back and top of your case as exhausts and all the fans around the front and bottom as intakes.

Thanks for the advice!
But will the fact that I am using the hot air inside the case to cool the water inside the radiator affect the cooling performance?
