I need to know how long this certain build would last before I bought it. This would be with several hours of gaming each week.

Ram corsair vengence LP 8gb (2x4gb)
Ssd Samsung 840 120 gb
Hdd wd caviar green 1tb
Video card Asus gtx 670 2gb
Pcu cooler master 850 w

what do you mean as in last? if you are talking about the hardware and its longevity, its generally more than 10 years. if you are talking about playability and how long before you end up playing medium settings on your rig, it depends one what you want to play

Well what are your specs? We can't give you any help without your specs. Theoretically if it's powerful enough (i.e. at least as powerful as a PS4) you wouldn't have to be upgrade it until the console generation 9 (which, at that point PC parts will be cheaper than console parts anyway) and you could still expect the same performance that multiplatform games get on consoles.

But really, we can't help you out unless you list your specs.

generally a gaming pc lifecycle is 2-3 years of good performance 2-3 years of acceptable performance.

provided you buy a decent computer to start with.

parts should not actually fail for at least 10+ years but of course it does happen on occassion and there is no way to tell. this is why we often suggest major brands and highly rated parts.
