well the answer is yes. if you plan to play yesteryear's games then it can run very fine with HD 6670 paired with or even a HD 7750,( can be found for $70). don't expect it too run crysis 3 and BF 4 and other upcoming games but you will be able to play their respective previous installments.

I would switch that CPU and motherboard for an Athlon 760k and compatible motherboard. It is still an inexpensive option but far superior. For graphics card, I would try and see if you can find a decent used one. I picked up an HD 5850, for a spare system, for $63 shipped on ebay recently and it is far superior to any $65 card you can buy new. HD 5850 sits between a 7770 and 7790 in performance which are $100-$140 cards. I often buy used to get more performance for my dollar.

Here is an inexpensive CPU and motherboard combo and would be much better than that old dual core.
