A while back I got a custom rig from a friend of a friend who builds and ships computers. It worked fine for a while, but then my dad tried to verify the windows and it said it wasn't genuine. So then it started acting up, showing blue screens and not booting at times. The builder of the rig said that Windows was most likely glitching in one of a thousand possible ways, and that I should reinstall it. So he sent me a Win 7 Ult X64 ISO via Dropbox, chick ended up not working. He then directed me toward a torrent that he said was reliable. But now, my hard drive isn't showing in the installer, and the rig won't boot at all. The only thing it will do when I try to boot is launch startup repair. Please help.

I'm having a little trouble understanding you. How are you trying to install this, did you download an ISO file of Windows 7 and put it onto a bootable USB?

I burned the ISO that I got from an online torrent onto a disk, which I used to try to install. Also, my dad just told me that when he got the verification message that found his windows wasn't genuine, it said that his OS was being disabled.
