With a on-board video card, pretty close to nothing (unless you go back 10-20 years). You really need a much better video card (5770/6770/7770 or better) and at least 4gb of memory.

^ There's your answer right there.

One game I played well with your similar setup is Battlefield 1942. Other than this and MAYBE a couple more games, your very limited with your specs.

Today Games need an i5,8Gb ram,Nvidia GT430 or higher. Anything less is a waste of money.

Yeah, for modern day games you'll need a quad core CPU... but 8GB is a little much. 4GB should be enough if your on a tight budget. As for the GPU, I'd say wait and save up a little more money for at LEAST a Radeon HD 7750. With that you can run modern day games no problem on at least low/medium with no problem. I'd even recommend raising your budget for a Radeon HD 7770. A GREAT card for the value. Have one myself and can play modern day games on medium/high settings with no problems.

However, your dual core CPU will be limiting the GPU and the games you'll be able to play. You'll have to upgrade this as well sooner or later to play modern games.

That is way to high you might have a virus, or are actually running a demanding program while you are 'idle'. more then 8 is unneeded for gaming, 4 is the minimum I would us with a 64x operating system.
