Looking for compatible and good PSU

I recently bought a Sapphire Radeon 7870, not realizing that the computer was running on a god-awful 300 watt power supply. (Lite-On PS-5301-08HA). The computer is an hp pavilion p6127c, and has fairly good components (Asus Benicia motherboard, 750 gb hard drive, 6 gb RAM, Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 processor).
The problem is that I cannot install any new parts because of the power limitations. The card needs 500 watts, so realistically with a power-hungry card and cpu I may need a lot of wattage. I don't have a lot of extra money lying around, but I would be willing to put down a bit more cash to get my computer into gaming condition. Does anyone have any suggestions as to the PSU I should buy that would be reliable, compatible, and of moderate price range?

Is that compatible with the pavilion? It looks like if it would fit my tower it would be perfect.

Awesome, thanks so much. I've also heard great things about Corsair Customer Service, so I'm going to go ahead and order.
