Screensaver Issue in Windows 7

My screensaver says none in Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit, but I have one applied and it works. I checked the registry and the desktop setting for the screensaver is set to 1 as it is supposed to be, but it still says none even though there is one. Any ideas?

Have you tried another screensaver?

Yes I have, all the screensavers work just fine, it's just that in the Personalization window it does not change, always says 'None' for screensaver.

Hi. Did you right click the desktop, click screen saver, and from the popup window click the (v) and select the one you wanted. Then click apply after viewing the preview?
