I have read a few posts on this but I would still like to know from some more people. Is the i7 4770k noticeably better than the i5 for gaming? I do not do editing or rendering of any sort I would just be using it for gaming. Let me know, thanks!

The 4670k is perfectly fine for gaming and the 4770K is the exact same speed but it has Hyperthreading, whicch isn't useful in the slightest for gaming.
The quick answer is no. A few seem to be a bit faster, others a bit slower. If you are looking into the future you may buy it but it probably only would be better after a year or two.
