thats resonable, you shouldnt have any problems. you could benefit by upgrading to an i5 in the future, if you play games that use more than 2 cores. i would probably recommend that upgrade rather than adding a second gpu (again depending on games and resolution you play at)

depends on the game really. you said you have a 7790? why would you want to go with 2 7850s? two mid range cards never perform as well as one high end card.
