Ram/Mobo/ general system advice?

yes, I've seen this but nowhere does it either mention the brand of ram i use or the voltages it can accept, the brand i believe is relatively new ? and at £39 for 8 gigs would really be great
 
amd motherboards and intel motherboards handle ram differently. intel uses xmp profile for newer 1600 and faster ram. the mb read eprom of the ram and reads the xmp profile and set the speed by it. some amd newer chipset have amd version of xmp profile. on first boot on amd mb most 1600 ram going to be set at 1333 speed intel the user changes the ram timing in the bios.
edit as ram vendors use newer smaller ram chips the voltage on the chips went down. most stock ram is 1.65 or 1.5v the newer 1.35 is low power ram and some mb can have issues.
