Hello everyone,
I am going to build a gaming pc and I am spending around a thousand pound on it. I have spoken to many of my friends who have all built all their own computers which range from top end pc's to mid range pc's.
Anyway, I have picked most of my hardware and was just curious if anything doesn't go together (for example if the motherboard doesn't go with the cpu or if the external fan I'm buying doesn't fit in the case).
Here are the components:
-Intel 3rd Generation Core i7-3770K CPU (4 x 3.50GHz, Ivy Bridge, Socket 1155, 8Mb L3 Cache, Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0
-Asus P8Z77-V PRO Motherboard (Socket 1155, 32GB DDR3 Support, ATX, Wi-Fi, Intel Z77 Express, Network iControl, USB 3.0, SLI/CrossFireX Support)
-Asus Nvidia GeForce 2GB GTX 680 DirectCU II OC Graphics Card
-Corsair Professional Series AX 760 Watt ATX/EPS Fully Modular 80 PLUS Platinum Power Supply Unit
-Corsair CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9B Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600 Mhz CL9 XMP Performance Desktop Memory Kit Blue
-Samsung 840 Series 250GB 2.5 inch SATA Solid State Drive
-Western Digital 1TB internal Hard Drive - Caviar Blue (3.5 inch)
-Coolermaster Storm Enforcer Mid Tower ATX Case
Also, do you guys reckon I should spend some money on a cpu cooler or should I stick to the one that I get with the CPU?
Please help me out, thank you for your time peace.
