Basically what the title says; I need a new GPU I found an ASUS Asus HD 7970 Matrix Platinum for ~£260 should I get that or should I wait until the new R9 - Series comes out? (Which would be the better option; will there be much of a performance improvement?)
Also I probably won't be buying the top of the range GPU as I will be using my Student maintenance loan to fund it and would like to keep as much as I can for other things like Books etc. (My max would be ~£300 as I currently only have around £730 to last until January)
