How do i know if my motherboard can support a gpu?

i want to buy a AMD radeon 7850 for my pc but i dont know if my motherboard can support it, how can i tell? my mother board is 960GM-GS3 FX. ASRock 8-Core CPU Ready motherboard.

The GPU uses a PCI Express 2.0 slot..

And your motherboard has:

1 x PCI Express 2.0 x16 slot

So it's a go, most new Motherboards and GPUs are compatible.

Check that you have a decent power supply though!

It does support it since it has PCIe X 16 slot.

Not really, need a lot stronger card with extended resolution over 3 monitors if you want to have good details in game.

The higher the better, normally if you want best settings I would say 2 x 7950 which you can't, so min HD7970 preferably HD7990. Then again AMD is launching new cards starting next week.
