I am trying to clone my existing HD to a new SSD that will install in my laptop that is running windows 7.
I have a Samsung 840 EVO (750GB), and have it connected using a NexStar hub (to a USB 3.0 port), however when it is connected it is showing up as "DVD RW Drive" and only has 37MB of storage. When I view it in Device Manager and look under "format" my only options are as a UDF format rather than NTFS (which I believe it should be- but I'm new to this).
