I have a hp dv9700 laptop that I have done a reflow on and it will work. Before all it would do is blink lights once and shutdown. The problem I am having with it is that I can only get it to power up if I have the screen opened to a certain spot. HP logo will not show if I move it at all from the spot I have it opened to. Wondering if it could be the lcd cord connector, inverter or still a problem with GPU? I would appreciate any advice anyone could give me.

Just in case anyone has the same problem. It turned out to be a bad lcd connector. I think the overheating fried the gpu and messed up the connector. In the end the laptop worked. It has been running good since.
