I had my GPU on my bed on a pillow. Can it be damaged?

I was putting my first PC together with the parts I have so far (still need a few more parts before it is done) and while I was doing that I put my ASUS 770 GTX GPU on a soft pillow that had no sheet over it. Is it possible that static could have damaged it. I don't recall my pillow having static and I can't recall if the metal part was exposed. Everything looks alright, but I am a little worried that it could have got static after reading about how static can damage it. Could I be worrying for no reason, or could I have messed it up before I built it?

Solution
I think you're worrying for no reason. And no way to tell until you install it, start it up, and it fails.

Or doesn't fail, as is highly likely.

Alright thanks guys. I have a blanket though that usually has alot of static when it comes out of the dryer, but I don't think it was on my bed that day and if it was it was on the other end of the bed. I still need to buy a few more parts like the CPU and RAM, but I feel alot better now. Thanks.
