Why are Games performing bad on My slave Drive ?

I just purchased a Hitachi Sata II Deskstar 1TB for Gaming I use My old WD 200 GB sata I as My Main windows drive My WD drive is set to Master 0 and My Hitachi to Slave 0 what is the problem why am i getting a performance drop ? should I just install everything on the new drive ? I figured using a seperate drive for gaming would perform better

No no no lol what I am stating Is the SATA ports and configuration on the Mobo I am using and what it shows up as in my bios if that information helps just trying to be as informative as possible
