My Family is "stuck" with an old dual core E-2220 hp system,
It has Vista on it and it keeps crawling as if unable to die.
I have finally convinced them to get a new system and I am wondering what would be a good future proof system for home/office PC. I am looking to get this cheapish as in under $500.
Purchase Date: between now and new year
Budget Range: $500ish if something is worth a bit extra ill get it.
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Office use, Home use, HTPC, Flash capable.
Do I need to buy an OS: no
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: any (I have a Microcenter near me aswell.)
Location: St. Louis MO
Parts Preferences: Nah, I would like to stick a SSD in there.
Additional Comments: I would like a quiet PC. I don't care about looks or anything fancy-looking; it's going to sit under a desk.
