I'm thinking of purchasing a Solid State drive to put my Operating System and a few choice programs on it, while having everything else on a Hard Drive.
However, by doing this, will it take longer to access the files on the Hard Drive via the Operating system on the SSD?
This is important to me, as there will be little point for a speedboost to boot-up if everything else is slower.
