This is my first time building my own PC and with the help of a friend i have chosen some parts, i have already checked and i think everything is compatible. But i would like some advice if anything does not look right as my friend will be the first to admit he has no experience building a PC on a budget. I already have a case plus 2x 500gb hard drives. And this is supposed to be for gaming. (on a budget)

Case: Fractal Design Define R4 Black Pearl

CPU: Intel Core i5 3570K

CPU cooler: CoolerMaster V8 CPU Cooler

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H Motherboard

Memory: Corsair CMX16GX3M4A1600C9 16GB (4x4GB) DDR3

Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 760 FTW ACX 4GB

Power Supply: Corsair CX-750 Modular 80+ Bronze Power Supply

Sound Card: ASUS Xonar D1

Plus 4x Phobya G-Silent 14 140mm 1400RPM Black Silent Edition fans

and 1x Phobya G-Silent 12 120mm 1600RPM Black Silent Edition to supplement the two fans i already have in the case, i have also ordered splitters to allow me to connect them all

The things i am most worried about are whether the CPU cooler will fit in the case and the power draw with all the extra fans, i know all this may look all wrong but that is why i am asking. I really dont want to screw this up. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

the cooler is for 1155 sockets and that's what you have right there with the 3570k and z77 board and a 750w PSU is overkill for your build all you really need is a good 550w PSU but 750 watts will let you sli in the future when you want to

you dont need a sound card there one onboard most new mb. if you dont like the onboard sound chipset you can always add it latter. drop drown to 8g of ram and use that money on a better gpu. the standard evo cooler going to work just as well as the v8. for the price of the v8 if it close to 90.00 you can get a sealed hi100 cooler for 80.00 on neweggg. if your going with all those fans pick up a fan controller. having all those fans going at max speed is going to be loud.

I would probably tweak a few things, since this is on a "Budget", but you don't list the budget???

For performance per $, I'd consider something like this:

To your question, yes it will fit, the case is a hair of 9" wide, need an 8.5" wide case, I've got the V8 on my 4770K, great cooler, about 10-113 degrees cooler than the EVO (did my build with an EVO waiting for the release of the V8, could only run about 4.4 at 24/7 with the EVO, am 4.6 with the V8 24/7

Add only 2 fans (not 5!) to the two that come with the case.
Get rid of the sound card. You can always add one later, but I doubt it's necessary.
Upgrade to GTX 770.
A 600W PSU would be enough for the GTX 770. If you stick with the GTX 760, a 500W PSU is enough.

The Corsair TX 750w right now is going for $60 and is a good buy. He could use a good 500-550w PSU, but at the price of $60 (w/promo code and MIR) its a smart buy, IMHO.
